Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how The Zardoz Group LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in applications that explicitly link to this policy (the “Apps”). It covers Calendared for macOS and other Zardoz Group applications that identify this page as their privacy policy.
This policy applies to use of those Apps. Applications with different data practices have their own policies. ConvertDroid is covered by the ConvertDroid Privacy Policy.
No data collection or tracking
The Apps do not collect or transmit personal information or usage metrics to us or to third parties. We do not operate a service that receives data from these Apps.
The Apps do not include:
- Analytics, telemetry, or usage measurement.
- Advertising, advertising identifiers, or tracking technologies.
- Third-party analytics or crash-reporting services.
- User accounts, registration, or profiling.
We do not sell, share, or use app data for advertising. We have no app-collected personal information to retain or disclose.
Information on your device
The Apps may process information and save preferences locally to provide their features. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Calendared calculates and displays calendar dates on your Mac. It saves display preferences, such as date and time formats, calendar theme, and appearance settings, locally using macOS preferences. Calendared does not read your calendar events, contacts, or location, and does not connect to a calendar account or online calendar service.
You control information stored on your device. Preferences may remain after an app is removed; removing the application alone does not necessarily remove its saved settings. Device backups and any operating-system services you enable are governed by your settings and the provider’s privacy practices.
Platform services
Downloading, purchasing, or updating an App through an app store involves the store provider’s own services and privacy practices. Your operating system may also offer diagnostics or crash-report sharing under settings you control. These platform services are separate from the Apps’ own data handling.
For Apple platforms, see the Apple Privacy Policy. The Apps do not add their own analytics or diagnostic reporting.
When you contact us
If you choose to email us for app support, we receive the information you submit, such as your email address and message. We use that information to respond to your request and provide support. The Apps do not automatically send us information.
Our email provider processes support correspondence to deliver and maintain that service. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your request. You can contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Children’s privacy
The Apps do not collect personal information from anyone, including children. They do not require an account or ask users to submit personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to keep it accurate as our Apps evolve. The effective date and last updated date appear at the top of this page. If an App introduces data collection, its privacy disclosures will be updated to explain the new practices.
